What the site offers

Tables, calendars and calculators about military pay, VA compensation and federal civilian pay, free of charge.

Unofficial, general information

paybygrade is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency, including the Department of Defense, DFAS, any branch of the armed forces, the Department of Veterans Affairs or OPM. All figures are unofficial copies or estimates for general information only. Figures for future years are marked “projected” or “estimate” and may change.

Nothing on the site is financial, tax or legal advice. Your actual pay, allowances and benefits are set by the agency that pays you. Always check the official source before you rely on a number.

Sources and intellectual property

The figures come from works of the U.S. federal government, which are not protected by copyright (17 U.S.C. 105); our sources page lists them. The site design, code and text belong to SV HUB S.R.L. You may use the tables and calculators for personal and classroom use and link to any page. You may not copy the site, resell it, or use automated tools that put heavy load on our servers.
