Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use paybygrade, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, or larger text.

What we aim for

We build the site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA:

text and controls with enough color contrast;
every page and calculator usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link;
tables with real headers, and form fields with labels;
pages that work when zoomed to 200% and on small phone screens.

We test pages with automated checks (axe-core) and by hand before they go live.
