This policy explains what data paybygrade.com (“paybygrade”, “we”) handles when you use the site. The site is operated by SV HUB S.R.L., CUI 51977418, registered office at Ielelor Nr. 16, Ap. 1, Moșnița, Timiș County, Romania, which is the data controller. Contact: [email protected].
The short version
- No accounts, no sign-up forms, no comments. We never ask for your name, service details or pay.
- The calculators run in your browser. What you type (grade, years, ratings, dates) is not sent to us.
- Analytics and ad cookies are used only if you click “Accept”, wherever you are. Until then they stay off.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control signal and the “Your Privacy Choices” page.
What we collect
Server logs
Our hosting provider and our content delivery provider (Cloudflare) receive technical data with each request: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. We use it to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix errors, and keep it only as long as needed for that. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your choices on this device
We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again on every page. It never leaves your device. Legal basis: strictly necessary.
Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click “Accept”, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are used. Google receives device and browser data and the pages visited. If you choose “Only necessary”, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. If you change your mind later and choose “Only necessary”, we stop measurement and delete the Google Analytics cookies from this site. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Ads (only with your consent)
The site does not show ads today. If we add Google AdSense later, it will load only after you consent, and this policy will be updated before that happens. Google explains how it uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Who receives data
Our hosting provider (netcup GmbH, Germany), Cloudflare, Inc. (content delivery and security) and, only with your consent, Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (analytics). Some of these providers may process data in the United States; such transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights in the EU, EEA and UK
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to a supervisory authority; in Romania this is the ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
Your US state privacy rights
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to delete or correct it, and to opt out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising unless you have accepted cookies. You can opt out at any time on Your Privacy Choices; we also treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. An authorized agent may contact us for you. We answer requests within 45 days.

Children
paybygrade is a general audience site for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent tells us a child has sent us information, we will delete it.
Retention and security
Server logs are deleted after a short period. Analytics data is kept for the shortest period Google Analytics allows. The site has no database of visitors and no login.

We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top.
